SpaceXAI, formerly xAI, launched an early beta of Grok Bot on August 11, VentureBeat reported. The agent is designed to move assistants beyond answering prompts toward continuously executing work across software, operating apps as a persistent digital coworker. It is priced at $120 per month.
The product reflects a broader shift from chat to agents that run for hours or days. It also inherits the governance questions that come with them: what an always-on agent can access, and who is accountable when it acts.
