Nvidia introduced its Open Agent Safety Platform on September 28, a software platform for setting safeguards on AI agents, CNBC reported. Nvidia named Cisco, Microsoft, Oracle, CoreWeave, Dell, HPE, Lenovo, ARM and Intel as partners.
CEO Jensen Huang discussed the platform on CNBC's Squawk Box the same day, alongside the broader AI safety debate. Huang has argued that safety is mainly an engineering problem, and a shared safeguards layer for agents is consistent with that view.
The launch comes as enterprises report growing concern about agents behaving outside their intended limits.
