Automation Anywhere announced on October 8 an agreement to acquire Boost.ai, a conversational voice AI company, from Nordic Capital, SiliconANGLE reported. Terms were not detailed in the coverage we reviewed.
Automation Anywhere is known for robotic process automation, and the purchase adds customer-facing voice capabilities to its agent offerings. It is another instance of established automation vendors buying AI-native companies rather than building every capability themselves.
