Workday Agrees to Acquire ConductorOne to Govern Agent and Human Access

Workday agreed to acquire ConductorOne Inc., also called C1.ai, an agentic identity platform, as part of its October 13 announcements, SiliconANGLE reported. It will be combined with Workday's Agent System of Record to govern agent and human access across Workday and other systems. Financial terms were not stated.

The deal reflects a theme across enterprise software this month: as agents act autonomously, identity and access management for agents becomes a product category, as ServiceNow's AI Passport also shows.
