At its DevDay event on September 29, OpenAI introduced Dots, a personal agentic assistant powered by GPT-6 Astra, according to TechCrunch and CNBC. It is rolling out in ChatGPT for Pro and Business Premium users in eligible markets.
The same event introduced GPT-6.1 Sol, arriving one week after the previous version, GPT-6 Sol. The pace of model updates is itself part of the story: enterprise buyers are being asked to evaluate and certify tools that change weekly.
At DevDay, Sam Altman and CFO Sarah Friar also commented on the company's IPO plans.
