Surojit Chatterjee is co-founder and CEO of Ema, which he started in 2023 with Souvik Sen, formerly of Okta. TechCrunch describes him as a former Google and Coinbase executive, and another outlet describes him as a former Coinbase chief product officer.
He told TechCrunch that "progress in frontier models is actually very beneficial to us" and that customers are moving away from large SaaS applications because "they are mostly becoming like a database." Ema raised a $77 million Series B in September 2026.
