Ema is a Mountain View company founded in 2023 by Surojit Chatterjee and Souvik Sen, formerly of Okta. It builds what it calls AI employees, systems that coordinate multiple AI agents to automate multi-step processes across HR, IT and finance inside a company's existing applications, with about 200 employees and offices in Bengaluru, London and Vancouver.
TechCrunch reported on September 23, 2026 that it raised a $77 million Series B led by Creaegis, with Accel, Section 32 and Prosus increasing their stakes, bringing total funding to $140 million. Customers include NTT DATA, Hitachi, ADP, PwC, Google, KPMG, Wipro and Microsoft. The company reports 50-fold revenue growth over two years and prices by task completion and outcomes.
