Interview: Amodei on China as the ‘Toughest Dilemma’ for an AI Slowdown

After publishing an essay on September 12 proposing that AI companies slow the pace of their most advanced models, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei told CBS the "toughest dilemma" is what happens if adversarial nations, namely China, do not do the same, CNBC reported. Trump rejected the proposal, saying it "won't stop our progress."
