CoreWeave CEO Mike Intrator called the moves in his company's stock and bonds irrational and said its backlog more than supports all of its debt obligations, CNBC reported on October 14. The stock fell about 15.5% that day, bond yields neared 15% and credit default swaps moved to distressed levels.
S&P rates CoreWeave B+, and the company has taken on more than $51 billion of debt and obligations. Intrator's view is the company's; analysts split, with Wells Fargo's Luis Alvarado saying investors want more risk compensation.
