Ghost AI, which is building a computer for personal AI agents, raised $11 million in a round led by Andreessen Horowitz, SiliconANGLE reported on October 5. Abstract, Audacious Ventures, Nova and SV Angel also participated, and the company is led by a 19-year-old founder.
The premise is that always-on agents may want hardware designed around them rather than running on phones and laptops. It is an early bet, and an $11 million round is small by current AI standards, but it is a signal that investors are funding the agent device layer as well as the software.
