Salesforce Deepens AWS and Google Cloud Ties so Agentforce Can Use Their Models

At Dreamforce on September 15, Salesforce expanded integrations with AWS and Google Cloud, SiliconANGLE reported. Agentforce is being given access to Amazon Bedrock's model library, including models from Anthropic, OpenAI and Nvidia, and Gemini is being brought into Agentforce so customers can build agents on Google's model.

Salesforce also announced a pricing change: it now charges for Agentforce service agents only when a customer's issue is resolved, not when an agent hands it off to a human. Multi-model partnerships plus outcome-based pricing signal a vendor trying to make itself indifferent to which model wins.
