A Stanton Chase survey of 214 C-suite executives and board members found that 77% of organizations have not moved AI beyond experimentation, and 65% cannot show measurable financial returns, according to the firm's May 2026 write-up.
The finding is consistent with other surveys and with Accenture's Marc Warner's October remark that organizations truly reinvented with AI are close to zero. The sample is small and drawn from the firm's executive network, so it is indicative rather than representative.
