Kyndryl's 2026 People Readiness Report, released June 25, 2026, surveyed 1,100 senior business and technology leaders across eight countries. It found that 57% say AI is embedded in core business processes or deployed broadly across the enterprise, up from 35% a year earlier.
Results lag deployment: 32% said they had achieved at least one of their top two AI goals and 11% had achieved both, and only 23% said their workforce is ready for AI, down 6 points from 2025. Some coverage simplifies the 11% as organizations hitting their goals, but it refers to those meeting both objectives.
