Prime Intellect, a platform for training models and agents, raised a $130 million Series A led by Radical Ventures that valued the two-year-old San Francisco company at $1 billion. Separately, Beijing multimodal model developer HiDream.ai raised a $222 million Series C at the same valuation, according to Crunchbase, which TechCrunch included in its running list of 2026 unicorns.
The two show the breadth of the unicorn wave, from U.S. infrastructure for training to Chinese image and video generation.
