Chase Lochmiller co-founded Crusoe in 2018 and serves as CEO and Chairman, building the company from stranded-gas Bitcoin mining into an energy-first AI infrastructure provider. He holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics and physics from MIT and a master's in computer science, focused on artificial intelligence, from Stanford.
Before Crusoe, Lochmiller worked as a quantitative trader at Jump Trading and as a general partner at Polychain Capital. Under his leadership, Crusoe closed a $3.9 billion Series F round in September 2026 at a $30.9 billion valuation, positioning the company as a major builder of AI data center capacity.
