Arvind Jain is the founder and chief executive officer of Glean, the Palo Alto-based enterprise AI search and work assistant company he launched in 2019. Jain spent over a decade at Google as a distinguished engineer, leading teams across Google Search, Maps, and YouTube, before co-founding and leading engineering at data security company Rubrik, which later went public.
Jain has been a notable voice pushing back against predictions of large-scale AI-driven job losses, arguing publicly that most organizations are still struggling to get employees comfortable using AI effectively, and that AI is better understood as a workplace assistant than a replacement for human workers, even as Glean's own valuation has grown to $7.2 billion.
