Kyndryl: 57% of Enterprises Have Deployed AI Broadly, but Only 11% Hit Both Top Goals

Kyndryl's 2026 People Readiness Report, released June 25 and based on 1,100 senior business and technology leaders across eight countries, found that 57% say AI is embedded in core business processes or deployed broadly across the enterprise. One report notes that figure was 35% a year earlier.

Results lag deployment: only 32% said they had achieved at least one of their top two AI goals, and 11% said they had achieved both. Some coverage simplifies this to "11% are hitting their goals," but the 11% refers to organizations that met both objectives. Only 23% said their workforce is ready for AI, a decline of 6 points from 2025.
