Salience Labs is an Oxford company founded in 2021 that builds photonic switches for AI data centers, drawing on research from the University of Oxford and the University of Munster. Vaysh Kewada is CEO and Johannes Feldmann is CTO. It launched a 32-port all-optical silicon photonic switch in March 2026.

SiliconANGLE reported on October 14, 2026 that it raised a $125 million Series B led by Bullhound Capital, with Intel Capital and AMD Ventures participating, and showed a 64-port all-optical switch at ECOC 2026. It had closed a $30 million Series A led by ICM HPQC Fund and Applied Ventures in February 2025. Performance claims are the company's own.
