Island is a Dallas-based security company that makes the Enterprise Browser, a browser designed so that security controls, data protection and access policy are built into the place where employees do most of their work. It was formed in 2020 by Mike Fey, co-founder and CEO, and Dan Amiga, co-founder and CTO, and emerged from stealth in February 2022 with nearly $100 million in funding. Its research and development operation is in Tel Aviv.

CNBC reported on September 24, 2026 that Island raised $400 million at a $6.4 billion valuation in a round led by Evolution Equity Partners, as AI-enabled attacks fuel security spending. Earlier rounds included a $175 million Series D in April 2024 at a $3 billion valuation, led by Coatue and Sequoia Capital, and a $250 million Series E in March 2025 at roughly $4.8 billion.
