Bengaluru-based Scimplify raised $25 million in an all-equity strategic round led by Hitachi Ventures, with customers Henkel and Teknor Apex as new investors, TechCrunch reported on October 14. Existing investors Accel India, Bertelsmann India Investments, Omnivore and 3one4 Capital participated. A person familiar said the post-money valuation is $250 million; the company declined to confirm it. Total equity funding is $80 million.
Scimplify uses AI to help manufacturers produce specialty chemicals and critical materials and to find alternatives to China-concentrated supply. About $7.5 million of the proceeds are earmarked for U.S. expansion and about $2 million for its Scinode platform.
