Misha Laskin is co-founder and CEO of Reflection AI, an open frontier AI lab he started in 2024 with Ioannis Antonoglou. Before founding it he was a research scientist at Google DeepMind, where he contributed to the Gemini project and led reward modeling. He trained in theoretical physics at Yale and the University of Chicago.
Under his leadership Reflection raised $2 billion at an $8 billion valuation in October 2025 in a round led by Nvidia, and debuted the open-source Beam model in October 2026.
