DXC Technology and Rimini Street Report 30-50% Cuts in Workflow Cycle Times

DXC Technology and Rimini Street both reported 30% to 50% reductions in complex workflow cycle times from AI agent deployments, among the more concrete enterprise productivity figures published in 2026. Cycle time, how long a multi-step business process takes from start to finish, is a less headline-grabbing metric than cost savings but often a better indicator of whether AI deployment has actually changed how work gets done rather than just automating a single step within an unchanged process.

Figures in this range, roughly a third to half the original time, have shown up consistently enough across different companies and industries in 2026 that they're starting to look like a realistic benchmark for well-executed agentic AI deployments, rather than a best-case outlier.
